Tealwood Care Centers originally acquired the Woodlyn Heights, which was then Wedgewood Healthcare Center, on April 1, 1999. Originally licensed for 110-beds. It was originally built to accommodate 170. When Tealwood purchased the community, the lower level had extensive water damage and was completely uninhabitable. Tealwood invested into making Woodlyn Heights successful and ultimately turned the building around to create a skilled nursing community to serve the people of Inver Grove Heights and the surrounding area.
As a company, Tealwood continues to invest in the success of Woodlyn Heights by enhancing the overall environment for residents, staff and families.
- Most recently with renovations to the TCU, therapy gym and front entrance that concluded May 2014
- Enhancing the dining space for our LTC.
